A webinar on “Written Communication Etiquettes” was organised by NSUT IIF as a part of Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of HRD Initiative) on May 20, 2020. The webinar was headed by Dr. Prerna Gaur, Director, NSUT IIF and moderated by Mr. Dheeraj Kaushik, CEO, NSUT IIF. The invitee speaker was Mrs. Shikha Gupta. She is a qualified lawyer, an ex-banker, and presently an English & soft skills trainer plus interview coach. Mrs. Gupta identifies herself as a " chir vidyarthi" i.e. a lifelong learner. In her continuous journey of learning, she is passionate about attending trainings, workshops and seminars on a broader range of subjects like world cinema; Indian art and culture; comparative religion and symbols; HR practices in 21st century; the art of storytelling; marketing mantras; mysteries of the human mind and gender justice. Her areas of interest with this webinar were business communication and personal effectiveness.

A webinar on “Business Model Generation” was organised by NSUT IIF as a part of Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of HRD Initiative) on April 17, 2020. The webinar was headed by Dr. Prerna Gaur, Director, NSUT IIF and moderated by Mr. Dheeraj Kaushik, CEO, NSUT IIF. The invitee speaker was Mr. Deepak Rustagi, Principal Consultant/Co-Founder, SPParC Corporate Consultants. He is holding position as a principal consultant for various business consultancy firms. His area of expertise include business excellence offering leads, business development for trainings and consulting and new framework and method development.

LabX Industry Interface Workshop
Alex and Gerta flew from the US to have an interactive session with the students of NSUT and explained to them how the prodcut-based businesses work and what are the expectations of the industry from the young professionals.

Telangana’s T-Hub Visit
The T-Hub Initiative for Startups:
T-Hub is a public - private partnership between the Government of Telangana, three of India’s leading academic institutes (The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, The Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, Hyderabad) and the private sector. It bills itself as standing at the intersection of the start-up, academic, corporate, research and government sectors.
Startups at T-hub
Startups are provided with a co-working space with no seed fund by T-hub. Instead, T-hub develops and run a variety of programs for startup-corporate interfacing. The program combines their in-depth knowledge of the startup ecosystem along with strategic corporate partners, negotiated partnerships with service providers, interactions with investors, international visibility, and dedicated pool of mentors to help startups in every way possible.
Collaboration model and programs with Bigger Companies:
T-Hub’s India Market Access Bridge is the vehicle adopted for placing startups in front of key clients from the get-go and setting them for project development and program management.
Hackathons organized by T-hub:
T-Hub and Boeing are partnering to leverage the Indian innovation ecosystem to get access to the innovative products and services developed by the Indian start-ups in specific capability areas. Boeing is also nurturing internal startups and is launching this challenge to select 3 startups which will work side by side with 3 Boeing teams in a tailored startup accelerator.

A workshop on “Idea generation and Psychology of Entrepreneur” was organized under the aegis of EDC cell at NSIT and guidance of Dr. Prerna Gaur on January 25, 2018. The invitee speaker of the event was Mr. Sandeep Mann, a renowned expert in the field of industry academic collaboration for startups.
The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs, practitioners, and students to share ideas, discuss best practices, and collaborate together to solve problems. It promised to be one of the biggest and most innovative workshops in the Delhi circuit attracting participation from budding entrepreneurs.
The workshop also welcomed the questions raised by students in the field of entrepreneurship. Envisioning new ideas and solutions, the organizing team ensured quality participation. Dr. Prerna Gaur managed the logistical and operational requirements in innovative ways. As a result, the workshop received an extremely encouraging response and good participation from the students.
